Care & Maintenance

To ensure your scarf lasts for years, follow these rules:

1. Wash Sparingly: Because merino is naturally antibacterial, you can often just air it out or hang it in a steamy bathroom to refresh it.
2. Hand Wash Only: Use lukewarm water (max 30°C) and a simple shampoo –  what is good for your hair is good for wool!
3. Never wring the fabric; instead, roll it in a dry towel to squeeze out moisture.
4. Dry Flat: Never hang a wet merino scarf, as the weight of the water will stretch the fibers and ruin the shape.
5. Storage: Store folded, not hanging. Use an airtight bag or a cedar block to protect it from moths during the summer months.
